Apex Cognition asks people for genetic data, lab results and daily health logging. That is sensitive information, and how we handle it matters more than how we describe it. This page sets out what we collect, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do.

Our two commitments

These are the parts we consider non-negotiable, and they apply regardless of anything else on this page:

• We never sell your data. Not your genetic data, not your lab results, not your logging, not your email address — to anyone, for any purpose.
• You can request deletion at any time. Contact us and we will delete your account data, including genetic and lab results, subject only to records we are legally required to retain.

What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address and billing details.
• Demographic information — age, sex, height, weight and activity level, used to build your baseline stack.
• Daily logging — energy, focus, sleep, mood and related self-reported measures entered in the app.
• Genetic data — where you are on VIP, the specific markers analysed from your sample.
• Lab results — biomarker results from blood draws performed at Quest Diagnostics locations.
• Waitlist information — if you join the waitlist, your email address and, optionally, which tier you were interested in.

What we use it for

To build and adjust your supplement stack, to ship your order, to operate your account, and to produce the written summary of your results on VIP. We do not use your health data for advertising or profiling, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers required to deliver the product — the laboratory performing your blood draw and analysis, the clinician who reviews VIP results, our fulfilment and payment providers, and our hosting infrastructure. Each is bound to use the data only to perform that service.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account, and afterwards only where we are legally required to retain records. When you request deletion, we act on it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Email hello@apexcognition.com and we will respond.
